sobre el mantel el pan de cada día;
y al cuerpo y al minuto lo que piden;
sin que la risa suene a vidrios rotos;
que no tuvo la mano del amigo;
probar la soledad sin que el vinagre
haga torcer mi boca, ni repita
mis muecas el espejo, ni el silencio
se erice con los dientes que rechinan:
estas cuatro paredes —papel, yeso,
alfombra rala y foco amarillento—
no son aún el prometido infierno;
que no me duela más aquel deseo,
helado por el miedo, llaga fría,
quemadura de labios no besados:
el agua clara nunca se detiene
y hay frutas que se caen de maduras;
un semejante entre mis semejantes;

The moon song

I'm lying on the moon
My dear, I'll be there soon
It's a quiet, starry place
Times were swallowed up
In space we're here a million miles away

There's things I wish I knew
There's no thing I'd keep from you
It's a dark and shiny place
But with you my dear
I'm safe and we're a million miles away

We're lying on the moon
It's a perfect afternoon
Your shadow follows me all day
Making sure that I'm okay and
We're a million miles away

Si primero tienes que leerlo a tu esposa
o a tu novia o a tu novio
o a tus padres o a cualquiera,
no estás preparado.
no seas soso y aburrido y pretencioso,
no te consumas en tu amor propio.
Las bibliotecas del mundo
bostezan hasta dormirse
con esa gente.
No seas uno de ellos.
No lo hagas.
A no ser que salga de tu alma
como un cohete,
a no ser que quedarte quieto
pudiera llevarte a la locura,
al suicidio o al asesinato,
no lo hagas.
A no ser que el sol dentro de ti
esté quemando tus tripas, no lo hagas.
Cuando sea verdaderamente el momento,
y si has sido elegido,
sucederá por sí solo y
seguirá sucediendo hasta que mueras
o hasta que muera en ti.
No hay otro camino.
Y nunca lo hubo.

Charles Bukowski.

You leave in the morning
With everything you own
In a little black case
Alone on a platform
The wind and the rain
On a sad and lonely face
Mother will never understand
Why you had to leave
But the answers you seek
Will never be found at home
The love that you need
Will never be found at home
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.

En la mañana oigo los coches
que no pueden
arrancar.

you will find the right words
just you wait and see
they’ll be falling from the rooftops
on a blossom covered breeze
and the song you need to hear
it will be singing through the trees
are you listening?
don’t you see?

you are on the right path
you will realize
the tears are there to leave you
with a brighter pair of eyes
and the pain that you’ve been fighting
is an angel in disguise
it is love
and love is wise

throw your heart into the ocean
throw your heart into the sea
you will find that all the right words
just come out naturally

there’s still time to notice,
still time to believe
that a door at last will open where doubt and darkness used to be
and that the paradise you long for
it’s underneath your feet
whatcha runnin for?
where’ve you been?

throw your heart into the ocean
throw your heart into the sea
you will find that all the right words
just come out naturally
just come out naturally

...it's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it. And then it flows through me like rain. And I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life...

I am a light
a light a light a light
the source of everything
is in our eye-eye-eyes
I see the good in yours
seeing the good in mine
